Help us continue to inspire youth to disconnect from mobile devices, social media, and other technology and connect to the natural world and each other.

Know a 4th-7th grade girl who is interested in Unplugging or want to learn more about volunteer opportunities?

Unplugged is an adventure based program designed to cultivate confidence, communication and leadership while teaching kindness, cooperation, listening, empathy and compassion. At unplugged, we love activities, but our mission is about more than that. We encourage our boys and girls to grow and learn to nurture relationships. In a world of technology, "plugged in" communication can become disconnected and dis-honest. Unplugged provides a venue and classroom to teach girls and boys to speak from their hearts, develop their voices, and be present. Our goal is to inspire young people to disconnect from technology, build friendships, take risks, and find joy in a variety of challenging activities.

“It’s awesome because you meet new people and do really cool things!”
— Evangeline

We support youth engaging in healthy activities that will strengthen mental, physical and emotional development in a safe environment. We strive to explore self-value, generosity and emotional courage. We will nurture friendships and foster courage and confidence through outdoor, adventure activities.
